In this guide we’ll walk through each critical location, share the quickest ways to find them, and explain the mechanics that protect their treasures.
Key Locations in the Genshin Impact Mondstadt Shrine of Depths
The shrine itself is a compact labyrinth tucked behind the old church. Despite its size, the area packs five distinct zones that each present a unique challenge and reward. Below we break them down one by one.
1. The Entrance Plaza – Gateway to the Depths
Immediately outside the shrine’s main arch, you’ll encounter the Entrance Plaza. This area serves as the first checkpoint for any adventurer. Look for:
- A pair of stone pillars etched with runic symbols.
- Three stone pedestals, each holding a different colored crystal.
- Small hidden chests tucked behind the pillars; they usually contain common crafting materials like “Stardust” or “Silver Powder.”
To unlock the path forward, you must match the color sequence on the pedestals with the runes on the pillars. The correct order is typically red‑blue‑green; pressing the pedestals in this order opens the gate to the Crystal Labyrinth
